Following receipt of UK Regulatory approval for Fidelity Bank Plc, Nigeria to acquire 100% of the bank's shares on 30th June 2023, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe was appointed to the Board on 26th July 2023 and as Chair of the Governing Body on 15th November 2023.

Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe is an experienced Banker of over 30 years. She was appointed to the position of Managing Director/CEO Fidelity Bank Plc (Nigeria) on 1st January 2021. Prior to her appointment, from 2015 to 2020, she had held the position of Executive Director, Commercial & Consumer Banking, Lagos & Southwest Directorate which covered leadership responsibilities for 9 different regions, 89 Branches and over 1200 staff. Before joining Fidelity Bank Plc Nigeria, her banking experience had been acquired within recognised Financial Institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc and Citizens International Bank Ltd were she held management positions in Legal, Treasury, Investment Banking, Retail/Commercial Banking and Corporate Banking. Dr. Onyeali-Ikpe is an alumnus of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she obtained an LLB (Hons). A Barrister at Law (BL) was obtained from the Nigerian Law School and an LLM qualification achieved from King’s Collage London. She has attended extensive executive training programmes in Harvard Business School, The Wharton School University, Pennsylvania, INSEAD School of Business and the London Business School.

She is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

David Forster

David Forster was appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer in August 2013 and to MD/CEO in October 2017. Mr Forster has over 35 years of experience working in Operational roles in the City where, prior to joining FBUK, he had been employed from 1991 to 2013 as Head of Finance & Operations at HSH Nordbank AG, - a successful German Corporate Bank created in 2003 following the merger of Hamburgische Landesbank and Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein.  Mr Forster started his banking career in the 1970’s firstly at Orion Bank and then at Banco National de Mexico where he was instrumental in developing the accounting, documentary letters of credit and loans administration systems for the new UK branch before securing a further position at Libra Bank between 1985 and 1990, where he rose to the position of Manager.

Mrs Ndidi Dimanochie

Mrs Ndidi Dimanochie

Executive Director

Mrs Dimanochie joined the UK Board in January 2024 and is seconded to FidBank UK Limited as an Executive Director responsible for business development and operations. She is a highly motivated professional with over twenty-seven years of extensive banking experience. She has been the Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Banking Directorate at Fidelity Bank Plc, Nigeria since 2020 before which she spent 22 years at Zenith Bank in a number of senior roles.

Mrs Dimanochie is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Administration and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management. An Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Nigeria She graduated with an MBA from Lagos State University Ojo, Lagos State and a B.Sc (Honors) Degree, Microbiology from the University of Nigeria.

Emeka Okonkwo

Emeka Okonkwo

Non-Executive Director

Emeka Okonkwo was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc (UBN) until May 2022. He joined Union Bank of Nigeria Plc in 2013 as an Executive Director to lead the Corporate Banking and Treasury business and appointed to CEO in April 2021. He was appointed to the UK Bank’s Board of Directors in May 2018.


Mr. Okonkwo began his career at Citibank Nigeria where he rose from officer level to become Executive Director in charge of Commercial Banking and Global Subsidiaries in 2009. At Citibank, he worked across various disciplines including Corporate Finance, Credit Risk Management, Marketing, Treasury and Strategic Management in Nigeria and London. Prior to joining Union Bank of Nigeria he was the Head of the Corporate and Investment Banking Division in Citibank, Bangladesh.


Emeka Okonkwo has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka; an MSc in Construction Management from the University of Lagos and an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK.

Ms Caroline Claudine Bault

Ms Caroline Bault joined the Board on 26th July 2023. She is a highly experienced Investment Analyst and Banker with considerable Non-Executive Director experience. She is currently serving on the Boards of the Natural Environment Research Council, the African Conservation Foundation, ETHEX (a Fintech investment platform founded in 2013), and is Chair of Tribe Technology Plc, a mining technology manufacturer. She is a Trustee and Member of the Property and Investment Committee of the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity and had formerly served as a Non-Executive Director of Aspirations Academies Trust (AAT), a multi-academy trust managing 16 schools, and the Further Education Trust for Leadership, an independent charity and think tank. She has held high level Executive positions within Goldman Sachs International and Commerzbank. She was Managing Director – Global Business Development for the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (2011-2013) and is currently the Managing Partner of Counselrock Partners, London.

Ms Bault is bilingual English/French and holds a BSBA in Finance & Marketing, University of Hartford, and an MBA Finance & Economics from the University of San Diego. She is a Member of the CFA institute and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).

Mr Mark Vincent Jarvis

Mr Mark Vincent Jarvis

Independent Non -Executive Director

Mr Mark Jarvis joined the Board on 26th July 2023. He is an accomplished Non-Executive Director and former Group Chief Finance Officer with over 37 years’ experience gained working in high profile positions across European and Emerging markets. His expertise covers sectors in private equity, venture capital, M&A and asset-based financing, where he held positions at both executive and non-executive level. Mr Jarvis’s early banking career was spent in Moscow Narodny Bank, London and Moscow, moving to Robert Fleming & Co (Moscow) and Chase Manhattan Bank (Moscow) before joining Ernst &Young (EY) as a Partner & Managing Director, Transaction Advisory Services in 2001. He was appointed a London Partner and Group CFO for EY, Global Head Office in 2014 where, as Group CFO, in one of EY’s multi-billion global business functions he managed the worldwide financial operations of the unit. He was also responsible, as a Global Process Owner, for overseeing the deployment of SAP throughout the EY network.

Mr Jarvis has worked and/or lived in several countries during his financial career, these include Chile, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Antigua, Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong and several other locations in the Far East. He is a Co-Founder and lifelong Member of the Russian Independent Director Association. He currently holds non-Executive positions as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Chair of the Audit & Resources Committee of Breast Cancer UK, acting CFO of Fast Charge EV charging solutions and is a Visiting Professor (Accounting, Finance and Banking) at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Mr Jarvis is an alumnus of Manchester Metropolitan University from where he obtained a BA (Hons) Business Studies (Specialising in International Markets).

Ms Mobola Faloye

Independent Non -Executive Director

Ms. Mobola Faloye joined the Board on 1st June, 2024. She is a well sought-after seasoned multi-industry executive whose core expertise is in Risk Management and Corporate Governance. She comes with a wealth of exposure and experience spanning over three decades across various disciplines in reputable organisations of which some are Citibank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Cargill, and UBS.

In 2018, Ms. Faloye was one of the 3 industry executives selected as members of the Board of Trustees of the Banking Sector Resolution Fund in Nigeria (to ensure the safety of depositors’ funds as well as financial system stability). As Regional Chief Risk Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer for the West African cluster of Standard Chartered Bank (where she was the first female Executive Director for Risk), she had leadership and oversight of the 2nd Line of Defence and ensured that there was alignment between enterprise risk governance and corporate strategy for the delivery of good quality earnings; without compromising integrity. She was also instrumental to the refinement of the strategic priorities of the bank (chaired majority of management committees, improved client experience, championed digitisation, rebalanced business compartmentalisation, and navigated the challenging macro environment through regulatory advocacy) to drive innovation and profitability.

Ms. Faloye serves as an Advisor and Independent Non-Executive Director on a portfolio of Boards. In addition to her Bachelor and Post-graduate qualifications, she is currently embarking on an academic Doctorate programme. She is a member of many professional bodies, a Speaker at Risk and Governance conferences; and she is passionate about Environmental & Social Sustainability, Mentoring, and Community Empowerment.
